Surveys & contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and email address), and business information. Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. Users’ personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties.
We use Google Analytics and Adwords data in a basic, user-focused way, mainly in aggregated data reports for assessing acquisition, behaviour and conversions.
Google Analytics sets out best practices to avoid sending Personally Identifiable Information (PII) — we are satisfied that in following these we are minimizing risks related to PII of persons visiting our website(s) being held by Google Analytics.
Google Analytics has, on 11th April 2018, introduced data retention controls, which allow us to control data minimisation and determine how long user and event data for our website(s) is held on GA’s servers on a lawful basis in relation to the reasonable requirements of our business. As of 8th May 2018 we have set data retention at the minimum period of 14 months for all Zoe Designs, LLC owned sites set up with Google Analytics.
